Providing quality and intensive psychiatric treatment since 1995, the Boulder City Hospital Mental Health department offers a Partial Hospitalization Program for adults that meets the needs of people who are able to remain in the community but require additional emotional support.

Providing a  structured, individualized program of quality and intensive psychiatric care, our Partial Hospitalization Program focuses on the specific needs of each client. We offer treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, severe anxiety and other mood disorders.

The Partial Hospitalization Program

The program provides a supportive environment where clients can gain the skills and resources that will foster independence, self-confidence and self-reliance.

Program

The client has the flexibility of a day program while returning to their daily lifestyles in the evening.

  • Estimated one hour of cognitive therapy or stress management
  • Estimated one hour of medication management or goal setting
  • Lunch
  • Group therapy
  • Breaks are also provided

Admission

Referrals may be made by anyone interested in helping the client achieve improved mental well-being. Physicians, psychiatrists, family members, social service agencies, nursing homes, group homes, home health agencies, senior centers (or the individual client through complimentary self-referral) can call (702) 293-4111 ext. 1657 for assistance. The Partial Hospitalization Program is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Transportation is available and may be arranged by calling (702) 293-4111 ext. 1657.
