Tom’s diverse experience in healthcare includes holding successful CEO positions in psychiatric, rehabilitation and acute care hospitals in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Tom has been a hospital administrator in Clark County Nevada since 1999 and has been the CEO of Boulder City Hospital since 2007. Tom graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with an AB degree in 1986 and got his MBA degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1991. Outside of the hospital setting, Tom is active in the hospital associations holding multiple terms as Chairman of the Board of the Nevada Hospital Association (NHA), Nevada Rural Hospital Partners (NRHP) and the Liability Cooperative of Nevada (LiCON, a self insured risk pool of NRHP). Tom is married and has four children.
Doug has over 40 years of executive level healthcare financial management experience in for profit, not-for-profit, and specialty healthcare systems in various locations throughout the United States. This included working directly with urban and rural healthcare organizations throughout the industry spectrum serving the financial management and reporting, Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting, third party reimbursement, and IRS Form 990 and tax return needs of these organizations. Doug is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and received his MBA at Southwest University. He is past president of the Southwest Idaho Consortium Hospital Network, and is currently a member of Elks, HFMA, and Honor Society of Southwest University. Doug has been the Chief Financial Officer at Boulder City Hospital since January 2015.
Andre Pastian RN, BSN, MSNL, graduated from Montana State University with a BSN degree in 1998 and earned her MS in Nursing Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2010. Andre’s nursing background includes Skilled Nursing/Rehab, inpatient oncology, Pediatrics and ER. Andre has been part of Nursing Administration at Boulder City Hospital since 2008 and has held of the position of Chief Nursing Officer since 2011.
Belinda received her undergraduate degree double major in Business Administration and Human Resources from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Over the last 20 years her experience has been focused on Healthcare, working as a Recruitment Specialist, Benefit Coordinator and Employee Relations Manager in for-profit and federal hospital settings. She is an active member of SHRM and Las Vegas local chapter. Belinda is married and has two daughters. She has been the Human Resources Director at Boulder City Hospital since 2013.

Barbara received her Bachelor’s degree from Ashland University and began a teaching career with the Akron Public Schools in Akron, Ohio. Her tenure expanded from a classroom teacher to an Assistant Superintendent. While advancing in the school system, she earned her Masters from Kent State University and a Doctorate from the University of Akron. In addition to the public schools, there was one year as a professor at the University of Akron and another year where she worked at the State of Ohio Department of Education. During her career, Barbara was active in the Akron community with Leadership Akron, the American Heart Association Board, the Cancer Society Board, United Fund, Summa Hospital Auxiliary Board, as well as, several national educational boards. Here in Boulder City, Barbara has served on the Lend A Hand Board, the Boulder City Hospital Auxiliary Board, the Boulder City Hospital Foundation Gala Committee, as well as, volunteering at the hospital, Art in the Park, and other local organizations.
Scott Hinson is a retired law enforcement executive. He has served on boards or directors and executive boards at regional and national levels and is a member of the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary. He and his wife Mary and two children have called Boulder City home since 2001.
Alan is a retired educator and school principal. Alan has lived and worked in the local economies of Holland, Switzerland, Germany, South Africa and Iran and has traveled extensively in Europe, North, West and South Africa and the Middle East. Alan is a twenty year resident of Boulder City. He has served on the Sports Commission, the Boulder City Historical Preservation Committee, the Juvenile Justice Committee, as a director on the Boulder City Public ArtScape, as a volunteer at the Senior Center and as a member of the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary Club. Alan has been on the Boulder City Hospital Board of Trustees since 2011.
Jennifer is the owner of Zischke,Walker & Hill Tax Preparation and Ferrari Bookkeeping Services Inc. in Boulder City, Nevada. Although Jennifer originally studied art while in school, she worked part-time for a bookkeeping and tax office in addition to her position at Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art. She found comfort in the routine of numbers vs defending the subjective idea of art. After all, two plus two will always be four! In 2009, she changed her focus to taxes full-time and has not looked back!
The field of “education” has been the center point of Cynthia Anderson’s life. She taught high school for six years, worked for a marketing company for one year, became a professor at Youngstown State University in 1979 and became Associate Provost in 1993 and University President in 2010. Ms. Anderson earned her Baccalaureate degree from Youngstown State, Master’s degree from Ohio State University and Doctorate from the University of Akron.
Sue has nearly 30 years of experience as an award winning journalist. Sue is well known and respected throughout Southern Nevada for anchoring the number one morning and evening newscasts for Las Vegas’ NBC affiliate for more than 20 years. During that time, she received dozens of awards and recognitions for her work in journalism, as well as her tireless efforts in the non-profit sector. Sue’s community efforts continue as she serves on the board of directors for the Las Vegas India Chamber of Commerce, The Giving Store, The Nagina Women’s Institute for Health and Education and in 2006 was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame. She also serves on the Board of the Boulder City Hospital Foundation and works closely with Safe House. She is a past board member of D.A.R.E. And March of Dimes,and is currently working at 10e Media as a media specialist. Sue joined the Boulder City Hospital Board of Trustees in March 2016.
Dr. Meeks attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then completed his medical school training at University of Kansas City, College of Osteopathic medicine. Since then he has been practicing medicine in the Las Vegas area for almost 20 years. Dr. Meeks currently serves as the Medical Director for the Boulder City Hospital ER. Dr Meeks also works at Touro University Nevada where he directs the Clinical Systems course, serves on the Curriculum Committee, the Students Promotion Committee, the Grievance Committee, and Advisor to the Emergency Medicine Interest Group. Dr. Meeks volunteers his time working with youth at his church and has been on the Boulder City Hospital Board of Trustees since 2009.
Bret is the Owner / Broker at Desert Sun Realty, where he has worked for over 30 years. He was raised in Boulder City and went on to attend UNLV where he earned an MBA. Bret is an active member of our community. As President of the Boulder City Museum and Historical Association, he was instrumental in one of Boulder City’s largest fundraisers, where the Historic Boulder Dam Hotel and Museum were preserved for generations to come. Bret is currently on the board of the Boulder City Economic Vitality Commission, a member of the Boulder City Charter Commission, and big supporter of the BC schools. He is also a member of the BC Sunrise Rotary Club, where he serves on the board of their foundation. Bret is married to Priscilla and has 2 children in college.
