The Partial Hospitalization Program

The Partial Hospitalization Program is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric nurses. Through comprehensive individual, group and family therapy, clients gain skills necessary to enhance their quality of life and maximize their ability to function independently. The program provides a supportive environment where clients can gain the skills and resources that will foster independence, self-confidence and self-reliance. Our client care includes input from family members, physicians, friends and clergy. With the help of our highly qualified staff, the crucial goals of restoring a sense of self-worth and returning to an optimal level of productivity can be reached.

Mental Health Outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program Cognitive Therapy

Boulder City Hospital’s Partial Hospitalization Program allows the client the flexibility of a day program while returning to their daily lifestyles in the evening. The program runs from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday; lunch is provided. A typical day at our program would consist of:

  • Estimated one hour of cognitive therapy or stress management
  • Estimated one hour of medication management or goal setting
  • Lunch
  • Group therapy
  • Breaks are also provided

Referrals may be made by anyone interested in helping the client achieve improved mental well-being. Physicians, psychiatrists, family members, social service agencies, nursing homes, group homes, home health agencies, senior centers (or the individual client through complimentary self-referral) can call (702) 293-4111 ext. 1657 for assistance. The Partial Hospitalization Program is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Transportation is available and may be arranged by calling (702) 293-4111 ext. 1657. The Partial Hospitalization Program is approved by Medicare and may accept other insurance and managed care insurance plans.
