Guardian Bay 2

Sam Scheller, CEO, Guardian Elite Medical Services, has donated two LIFEPAK 12 DEFIBRILLATOR MONITORS with End Tidal CO2 monitoring capabilities to the Emergency Department at Boulder City Hospital. Valued at over $5,000, the LIFEPAK 12 is a reliable monitor/defibrillator/pacing device which is useful in pre-hospital, critical care transport and clinical applications. There are more than 80,000 LIFEPAS 12 defibrillator/monitors in use today on rescue rigs and in hospitals worldwide. The LIFEPAK 12 is considered best practice for cardiac patients and, this generous and much needed donation by Guardian Elite EMS, will help the Boulder City Hospital ER monitor respiratory functions in emergent patients during moderate sedation procedures, overdose incidents and with COVID-19 patients.

“Boulder City Hospital greatly appreciates the commitment of our community healthcare partners in helping our hospital continue to provide compassionate, quality care,” said Thomas Maher, CEO, Boulder City Hospital, “we look forward to continuing to provide best practice care and exceptional service, and thank Guardian Elite EMS for their gracious donation.”
