Geriatric Behavioral Medicine Center

The Geriatric Behavioral Medicine Center at Boulder City Hospital offers individualized care in a warm, supportive, confidential atmosphere.  We specialize in ensuring an overall understanding of the illness and determining the best course of care.  Treatment includes individual meetings with psychiatrists, psycho-educational group with other patients, and educational programs.  Our nurses, psychiatrists, and social workers can help with all aspects of the treatment.


Admissions are accepted 24 hours a day.  Referrals may be made by emergency departments, physicians, social workers, mental health professionals, social service agencies, family members, friends or self.  The decision regarding admission is made by a psychiatrist.
